Using long carbon fibers, we achieve high strength and high moldability! It also accommodates a wide range of weights.

"HAYATE" is a carding-type carbon fiber non-woven fabric for press molding. It is a non-woven fabric made by mixing long fiber carbon fibers with thermoplastic resin fibers, serving as an intermediate material for CFRTP that can be molded through press forming. We offer a sheet type for stamping molding and a needle punch type for heat & cool molding. We will achieve a high-thickness carbon fiber sheet with non-woven fabric!

Our non-woven fabric technology enables the production of 100% PAN-based carbon fibers. Non-woven fabrics made from 100% carbon fibers can also be produced using virgin fibers as well as various recycled carbon fibers (through methods such as pyrolysis and dissolution). We possess resin impregnation processing equipment, allowing us to impregnate any resin and provide prepreg sheets. The resin's permeability is excellent, making it suitable for use as a substrate in processes like RTM molding. By blending with thermoplastic synthetic resin fibers, we can also create substrates for thermoplastic CFRTP.
